Snack On That

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.” - Dr. Seuss

Pancho Villa’s All-Purpose Guacamole

This recipe was submitted by Chef Ranjani.

Ingredients:

(2) avocados
(1) clove of garlic (clove being the tiny inner section), peeled and minced
A bit of cilantro
(1-2) scoops of sour cream (to make the guacamole creamy)
A few chopped onion and tomato pieces

Instruction

1. First, cut the avocados open (I usually cut the avocado about an inch from the end, to avoid the pit), remove the pit, and scoop all of the innards into a bowl. If you’ve never worked with avocados before, make sure that the innards aren’t olive or brown-colored. That means that they are going bad.

2. Add the avocados, the minced garlic, the cilantro, the onions, and the sour cream into a food processor/blender and blend until the avocado is no

longer chunky, and the guacamole has a nice creamy — but not too thin — texture.

3. You can add a little lemon juice to taste, and a little bit of salt. If you’re eating salty foods however, skimp on the salt!

4. Toss on some tomato pieces and enjoy!

Bon appetite! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!
